How to make it
Now, as you probably already know, I take tea drinking quite seriously.
The ritual of putting the kettle on, popping in one of my pyramid bags and drinking a cuppa PG tips tea fills my life with real joy. I have been drinking PG tips tea for donkey’s years now! Along the way, I’d like to think that I’ve learned a thing or two about tea and how to fully enjoy it; after all, practice makes perfect!
Green tea is no exception! Have you ever wondered how to make green tea the way Monkey likes it? Then, pals, look no further…
The first thing you’ll need is, of course, one of our delicious PG tips green tea bags. Just pick any flavour you fancy, and put the kettle on!
Time to get brewing! When I can, I like to use a teapot to brew my tea, especially when my mum comes to visit! Right, chums, make sure the teapot has been rinsed with hot water first so that the tea doesn’t cool down too soon. Then simply pop a pyramid bag or two into the teapot, fill it with boiling water, and allow the green tea to brew for two to three minutes (depending on how strong you like your tea).
Ah, now the time has come to pour! A little trick for you… remember to fill everyone’s cup one third at a time. Why? Because the tea that sits closer to the top of the teapot is a little weaker than the tea that sits lower down. Pouring the tea bit-by-bit makes sure everyone’s cuppa is the same!
Right, the most important moment of all. It must be taken very seriously. Ready? Then you must enjoy! Ahhhh, delicious.
