Terms & Conditions

1. The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of Unilever, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition.

2. Closing date for receipt of entries is 1000 GMT on Friday 24 August 2007

3. No purchase necessary. Entry must be made using an official entry form available electronically at www.pgtips.co.uk/beauteaspots. Entrants must provide the name and a short description in their own words of their favourite tea spot. Entrants may also provide a photograph of their nominated tea spot. All photographs submitted electronically should be submitted as jpegs with a maximum size of 10MB.

4. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.

5. Responsibility is not accepted for any entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

6. The Promoter reserves the right to publish any descriptions and photographs submitted on the beau tea spots webpage. The Promoter may also remove from the webpage any published entry and photograph at anytime.

7. Entrants hereby agree to irrevocably and unconditionally waive any rights to be identified as the author of the descriptions and photographs and other moral rights, which they may have now or obtain in the future in relation to the descriptions and photographs.

8. Entrants hereby agree not to send to the Promoter any unlawful, threatening, harassing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, racially or ethnically offensive socially irresponsible material or other material that would violate any law.

9. Entrants confirm that they are either the owner of all rights of copyright in the photographs or they have authorisation from the copyright owner to submit the photographs. By submitting their photographs, entrants confirm that they do not infringe any copyright, right of privacy or any other right whatsoever of any third party.

10. Entrants shall indemnify and hold the Promoter harmless from any claims, actions, proceedings, costs and expenses arising as a result of any allegation that Entrants did not own or are not wholly entitled and authorised to allow publication and reproduction of the descriptions and/or photographs by the Promoter.

11. There are five prizes to be won of PG tips picnic packs - a 1 litre stainless steel branded flask, a large PG tips branded travel blanket and a summer's supply of PG tips tea (480 Pyramid teabags). No cash alternatives will be offered. No entrant may win more than one prize. The winners will be the five people whose nominations were the most unique nominations in terms of description and location in the opinion of the judges. The decision of the judges is final. The panel of judges will include at least one member independent from the Promoter.

12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.

13. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. The winners must claim their prize within 60 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Competition rules.

14. Competition winners should allow 28 days from the date of claim for delivery of the prize.

15. The winners' details (name and county) will be made available on request to those enclosing a stamped SAE to "PG tips Beau-Tea Spots, Cake, 10 Stephen Mews, London, W1T 1AG" to the Competition address within ten weeks after the closing date.

16. The Competition winners may be required to participate in publicity arising from this Competition.

17. By entering the Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
